Life
In high school at Lake Dallas I was a lonely surfer from California surrounded by cowboys - but I learned to get along with my classmates (and teachers). I went to the 15-year reunion (or close to it) around 1985 - coming all the way from Florida (West Palm Beach area) where I had relocted after high school graduation. After 18 years iof living in Florida (and 4 in Houston, TX) I now live happily in Washington DC cruising Capitol Hill to help preserve & protect the world's oceans waves and beaches for Surfrider Foundation as a volunteer, and serve as a Sr. Coastal Scientist and technical consultant to the Federal Emergency Management Agency on hurricanes and beach erosion. I still surf after 35 years (started when I was 13 years old) and got to Costa Rica, California, and Maui for the best waves!
